A 6 year old boy is left alone in the world with no money and no-one to care for him. He has remarkable abilities that allow him to soar beyond imagination. He quickly passes up science as it is known on earth, His adventures carry him into deep space where he makes a stunning discovery. His successes have minor meanings for him compared with his over-riding love for his Mother. She was his total existence and he wants her back. Characters from the Thinker books make appearances.
