Laura Cade was convinced that her father and grandfather had not kept up with the times and that, if the family toy shop business was to be saved, drastic steps were necessary. Her imaginative design for success was calculated to satisfy two of human nature's deepest cravings: for high adventure and for a genuine bargain.
