Sixteen year old Brandon Stone hasn't always made the right choices in life, but he's never found himself in quite such deep trouble as this. A little white lie so he can go out to celebrate a football win with his team mates quickly turns sour when he finds himself waking up the next morning in the hayloft beside his Russian exchange-student girlfriend Lana, with an awful hangover and no memory of what happened the night before.

But even though his life seems wrecked forever, things quickly get much worse. For when Lana is sent home in disgrace to face the wrath of her pitiless father, it soon becomes clear that no one on earth can save her from death on the cold streets of Saint Petersburg. . . except Brandon himself.
