Box Canyon Betrayal

Fresh from a desperate fight for their lives, Kate Kingshott and her pal, Pakuna, ride the trails west through Oregon to the coast. Some much needed R&R. But they get sidetracked by a series of events, bank robberies and murders that pique their curiosity as well as their mission for western justice. She and Pakuna connect with good people in the small town of Smoke River, Oregon. They take work from a friendly old-timer to help out after the death of his wife. Kate meets a charming local man who seems to be the most popular man in Smoke River. And he steals her heart like no man ever had. As unexpected events unravel part of her life, her new man opens her heart to hopeful trails ahead. Kate's hopes for the future glow with anticipation. But, as always, her fast gun invites trouble. The trail ahead gets rocky and dangerous. Life threatening for Kate, her new man and her pal, Pakuna. It will take all her trail-wise cunning just to survive.
