Born With a Mask

Petite Sunny Scott, with her green eyes and short brown hair, did not seem a likely mystery writer, but at twenty-three she already had written several best sellers. With her two younger sisters, Pat and Janna, Sunny had moved into the new home bought by their parents just before a plane crash had claimed their lives and that of Sunny's pilot boyfriend, Rob. It had taken all three girls a while to adjust, but Sunny was the most bereft of all, and not even her beloved writing seemed to draw her out of her self-imposed shell.

It was, ironically, their pet raccoon who provided the impetus with which Sunny was forced to enter the world of the living once more.
