WHO IS THAT HERO FOR HIRE?

Rick Westley:

When a letter bomb destroys his office he figures it's a fluke--who'd want to hurt him? He isn't exactly the action/adventure hero type. Nevertheless, Rick finds himself assigned a bodyguard whose own body is pure distraction.

Jacquie Summers:

"Jack" isn't at all what Rick expected. First, she's a woman. A very small, very sexy woman who makes up for her lack of experience with dangerous enthusiasm. If Rick wasn't worried about his safety before "Jack" came on the scene, he is now!

Assignment:

To protect Rick Westley from his enemies ... and her overzealous self, so everyone will forget the outcome of her last assignment. All Jacquie has to do is keep him alive and in one piece. Which is almost impossible once she starts breaking the rules and falling in love with the client....

Being a bodyguard means staying close as a lover.
