Bodicea

The Long, Strange Trip of the Pathfinder Ship Pegasus continues.

On the planet Bodicea, there are 20 women for every man. The women rule the planet under an oppressive, collectivist Soroarchy, performing all the work of society while the men are kept in heavily guarded compounds watching sports and keeping fit until called upon to perform sexually.

Its actually quite more horrific than it sounds.

Book 03 introduces the Primary Antagonists of the Worlds Apart books; the Aurelians. The Aurelians were once human, but thousands of years of eugenics and selective breeding have made them super-intelligent, powerful, and amoral. They prowl the galaxy in ships the size of moons, accompanied by battle fleets and mutant armies to crush and enslave any human world they encounter.

But, before they annihilate a civilization, they ply it with promises of unbridled hedonism and limitless pleasure. Needless to say, many human cultures accept the offer of a few decades of pleasure followed by total oblivion.

Bodicea is their next target.
