Bobbi and Me

Bobby and Me tells the story of a girl and her best friend, Robert ("Call me Bobbi") who likes to play with "girly" things. Together they navigate teasing and name calling from other kids, showing that love truly does conquer all. This book offers tools for children who may feel judged by peers for their differences. Creating an Invisible Shield and choosing love over fear are intertwined in support of self-love, inner strength and confidence in who and what one is. Readers may also enjoy joining Bobbi and his friend drawing mandalas and sewing their very own Peace Pillow (instructions included at the end of the book).
