The itinerary of the magnificent ocean liner SS Regina read New York, Florida, the West Indies, South America. A trip of a lifetime for the passengers but not for personnel - especially in sick bay. To recover from a broken engagement, Nurse Lesley Owen turned for help to her wealthy uncle, chairman of the shipping line, who quickly arranged the job on the Regina. Full of romantic ides about life at sea, her first shock came when she met Dr. Mike Halliday. One look was sufficient for open warfare to be declared in the sick bay. And with her ex-fiancé, Colin Butler, on board, shipboard life was far from smooth-sailing for the pretty niece of the chairman.
