Corsova, a tiny country in Eastern Europe, is the last safe haven for the paranormal races of the world.
For her crimes against crown and country, Nikia is the most wanted person in Corsova. Atar, one of the last of an ancient race of shape-shifters with the ability to telepathically merge with their quarry, accepts the mission to retrieve her. Freed for the first time in her life, she's determined to find a way to keep her mind and her sanity. He's equally determined to recapture her, though Atar isn't sure if he wants to take her back to face justice, or just take her. Her aura confuses him, but his mission is clear. Each time he finds her, she manages to escape, but the attraction grows for both of them. When a mysterious group with unknown motives attacks them, the pair has to work together to survive and figure out if there is a future for them.

Corsova Chronicles is a series, with each standalone novel focusing on a different couple or triad connected by the shared location of Corsova. It isn't necessary to read each volume of the series, but reading them in order will enhance overall enjoyment by enriching the plot development.
