Blood and Moonlight

Rio Pace, photographer and recently-turned werewolf, has always taken a great care to get as far away from people as possible every full moon. So her shock and horror at waking up in an alley in the middle of Albuquerque boils into one thought: Did I kill anyone? Offered shelter by Ilya Morelaski, she finds werewolves aren't the only supernatural creatures that actually exist. His disgust that she was turned against her will even as he was leads him to help her escape the werewolf who turned her and wants to bend her to his will. Their escape takes them on a road trip through the southwest, ending in a last-ditch effort to find a book that holds the means for them to both be human again.
