Life has been good for Mitchell Gunn and the human populace on the planet Dagor. Years of peace since the Ch'kutar War ended had given way to advancements in culture and civilization. But all was not as tranquil as it seemed. While Fort Mitchell grew and prospered, a rival from the past was thriving and scheming. Rumors of horrible soldiers and the vanishing of the animals in the Doruban had caused Gunn to explore the southern expanse for answers. Disappearing without a trace, General Mitchell Gunn falls into the hands of a hated enemy and his worst nightmares are realized when he becomes a prisoner of the Fourth Reich.
