Blindsided

In Blindsided, the 4th book in Barry Hoffman's Eyes series, reporter Deidre Caffrey is murdered, allegedly by a drug dealer. To Shara's chagrin, she learns she's been made executor of Deidre's estate and is shocked to find out that Deidre has a younger sister, a heroin addict. If Shara can get Deidre's sister clean, the sister inherits a good deal of money. The more Shara learns about Deidre's sister, the more she comes to understand Deidre had secrets of her own which led to her death. And there's far more to Deidre's sister than a weak-willed drug addict.
