Decker Blackheart was a ladies' man and all the talk on the Billboard circuit as the up and coming musician of the year. As the reigning rock star legend of the band Blackheart Doom, Decker was considered to be one of the most accomplished guitar players in the industry. Landing in Chicago for a gig, he was incensed how few people showed up to the latest concert. It didn’t matter that a raging snowstorm was pounding the city. With all the hotels booked because of the impending weather, Decker was forced to take refuge at an old college buddy’s apartment and instantly anguished memories resurfaced.
