Black Market Bear

Ajax is the Alpha of his crew. Big, strong, intelligent and highly trained. There are few things in the physical world that bother him. But he's alone, and though it is by choice, the happiness of those around him as they find mates has taken a heavy toll. Unwilling to burden his makeshift family with his problems, he sets out on a long put-off vacation. His plan was to see the world and relax. Until his boss asked him to play detective and go looking for a missing shifter.

Arianna Jones wanted to be a journalist her entire life. She dreamed of publishing pieces for the big newspapers and magazines. She didn't imagine that her dream job would be working as a conspiracy theorist, pandering crazy theories to the world. Those that would listen to such hysterics, at least. But when a personal project runs her afoul of the big, burly bear man, Arianna is exposed to the realistic side of conspiracy theories, complete with danger and potential death.

The pair find themselves at odds with a mysterious agency that is well funded, trained and knowledgeable. It's a combination that will both challenge, and change the pair. If they survive. Will the whirlwind events reveal their true passions for each other, or will their enemies silence their emotions before they can bloom?

And at the center of it all; a conspiracy that defies belief...
