Remember me? Deirdre Griffin, vampire? As you may recall, I didn't want to be one, but in matters of blood, a woman doesn't always have a choice. After living in London for the past two years, I'm finally back in my favorite city. But life in New York's no picnic in the park. It seems a group of vampires want revenge against me for killing their leader. What's worse, they're using my ex-lover, Detective Mitch Greer, as bait. If you'll remember, Mitch and I never had a chance because he couldn't accept my unusual night life.

But now he's going to have to. Because the only way I can save Mitch is by converting him. Knowing what a drag immortality can be, I don't know what to do. If I don't change Mitch into a vampire, he'll die; if I do, he'll hate me for all eternity. All of this is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. A good man is hard to find, but finding a good vampire is even harder!
