He guessed he was about nine years old when he woke up by that dusty road in far west Texas, beaten, bruised and bloodied. He didn't remember where he came from or even what his name was.He found his way to a saloon in the New Mexico territory and there he learned how to swamp out a bar and watch for a bottom deal. On a cattle drive to Wyoming in his fourteenth year, he was finally given a name, and the world discovered that he was lightning-fast with a six-gun.Still, he has it in mind that he needs to find out who he really is, and take revenge on whoever gave him that beating. He wants his pound of flesh, but he also finds great joy in punching cattle, until the day he finally meets a man who claims to know who he is-and where his father still lives!
