Ethan Brooks returns to his brother's ranch in Colorado to find him embroiled in a bitter feud with his neighbors; two brothers who have their sights set on taking a good portion of his land away from him. When Ethan arrives things change drastically. He informs the brothers that any more attempts to force his brother to sellout will end in gun smoke. The brothers aren't about to take his warnings lying down so they send to Salida, Colorado for a fast gun to take care of Brooks. When you add a Cheyenne war party, a gang of bank robbers, an old friend, and a pretty woman who just happens to be the sister of the two feuding brothers, you have the makings of a great story. Mason has penned another Western to keep the reader turning page after page to see what happens next. A good read for the Western fan.
