When Jack's parents force him to work a few days after school at weird, old man Finnegan Donegan's antique store Jack wants no part of it. He would far rather be playing a hero in the latest video game. What ten-year-old boy wouldn't? However, when Jack soon learns of the adventures to be had in the back store room­-adventures in a world only seen by believers-he soon changes his mind. Later, when mysterious things happen and strange events occur, it is Jack's parents who decide working at the suspicious antique store isn't such a good idea. Before the end, it is up to Jack alone to save old man Donegan's store and the enchanted world of Ricafa. But, can he do it? Will Jack end up being a hero after all?
