Beyond Legal Limits

Harried attorney Carol Reynolds thinks she is doing Alex Winters a favor when she eccentric Victoria Templeton's new will after hours. The elderly spinster is one of Alex's most important clients, and if she is intent on finalizing her will tonight, Carol is sure it won't do any harm. Maybe it will finally get her boss to notice her.

Twenty-four-hours later, Victoria is dead. Alex is in an uproar, and Carol is in a whole heap of trouble. This kind of attention will has left her kindly stepsister, Ivy, penniless--and a prime suspect in the murder. Everyone knows that the meek older woman wouldn't hurt a flea, but the police seem convinced they've found their killer. It's up to Alex and Carol to prove them wrong.

Carol soon finds that working so closely with Alex does strange things to her heart. She might almost be enjoying herself if the whole thing weren't so dangerous. But there's no room for romance when you're trying to smoke out a killer...
