Beware the Night

Shauna Travis, a talented young painter, is thrilled when she is among those chosen by an eccentric millionaire to spend the summer at High Cliff, a haven for promising artists. All of Shauna's expenses will be paid and all her time will be peacefully devoted to painting -- or so she thinks until she arrives at the mansion that will be her home and workplace for the season. From the first night, she is stalked by anxiety, scared by strange sounds, eerie lights, and deadly accidents. Soon all the artists are ruled by terror, wondering which of them will be tormented next -- and is one of them the tormentor?

To Shauna, the most frightening thing at High Cliff is the look in the eyes of charismatic sculptor Mike Robbins, a look that speaks of love or mockery, protection or menace -- she cannot tell which!
