Better the Second Time

Ainslee and Dean had been like two ships passing in the night. They'd remained friends through his deployment and her marriage. But now she's a divorced mom of two looking to adopt kittens after her brother, Robbie, got involved with 2 Hearts Rescue's Feline Unit. What she doesn't realize is that Dean volunteers at the rescue, and she's starting to think of a reunion.

Dean enjoyed his work with the rescue and loved seeing the cat trees Robbie and Ainslee's son, Trent, had made for the cats there. When she shows up with her son to adopt cats, he knows this is his chance. It's time finally to make her his and prove that love is better the second time around.
