Betrayed, a love story

BETRAYED-A LOVE STORY, betrayal, ethics, street clinic, growing friendship and trust, love; erotic activity: Anthony Cord, M.D. and engineer, is convinced that Lara DeSevres, one of the two principals of LR Holdings, along with her partner Roland Parks, played an important part in the acts of betrayal that cost him his company. Lara insists that it was only a business decision; for Anthony it was personal because he was betrayed by his ex-wife and his boyhood friend. Lara increasingly comes to feel that it is important to convince Anthony that he is mistaken about her, that it was not personal but was truly only a business decision but this leads her to questions of business ethics. The only way to do this is for them to get to know each other and she attempts to do so by showing up, often unexpectedly, in his life, especially in the street clinic which he funds and runs, and this make him suspicious at first, especially since she wants him to join LR Holdings. Slowly they come to know each other, to trust each other, and to fall in love.
