Bennu's Remains

Times are changing in known space. The Dex Hox and their allies, having fled the Parasite War to a more hospitable spatial region, may decide to return to what were once home stars to resume the fight. The fleet doesn’t know the dangers or the ramifications of what they may face until they take the step. In the former home systems, the ancient war is finally drawing to a close and the varied victors are unsure what comes next. Those allied out of necessity soon must face the galaxy without their common foe, if things progress as hoped- but then who is in power, and how should that power wielded? When new threats emerge and the perdurable enemy seems poised for a new expansion, no one knows how the universe might look when these battles end. Allies and friends may not be strong enough to live in peace, or prevent the war from simply changing form. Whatever happens, the moment of truth is coming fast.
