Bended Knees is about a short story where hope overcame disparity. A single mother, Ruby Jean who was determine to have her son succeed, out of a impoverish neighborhood, called Greenwood. It is a struggling farming community that once was a striving area until a canning factory moved away causing Greenwood to crumble. Crying out to the only God who has giving Ruby any hope, she intercedes day and night in prayer on bended knees for her son, trying to break through the darkness that held young Carl Jr. Carl tries to find temporary relief from the failures and disappointments like some of the other folks in Greenwood at the end of the road called Summerville. However will her son find lasting peace and hope that she is searching for him on bended knees? Bended Knees is inspirational message of hope and perseverance.
