It should have been a fun school holiday. Instead, Belinda's world falls apart.

When her father's car is found crashed on a rain-swept coastal road, with no sign of him anywhere, the police suspect he wrecked the car, stole the firm's money, and disappeared. But Belinda knows her dad would never do that.

Armed with determination, her two best friends Kate and Amanda, and three very unusual kittens that let them understand the speech of the animals around them, Belinda sets out into the wild bush to find her father.
