Beginnings

Mrs. Beedles a strange old lady who looks like the perfect grandmother approached Garret and his mother and offers him a chance to get out of trouble and start a new path in life by attending Atlantis a new private school in the Sawtooh Mountains of Idaho. Garret is hesitant, but then becomes excited about the school and what it offers.
Garret goes through the registration process of taking a test, writing an essay, and going through an interview in order to get into the school. They find out that Captain John Erickson from the Air Force new Garret’s father, and he helped to start the school. Erickson made a promise to Garret’s father to take care of Garret, so he told them he would help sponsor Garret at Atlantis.
When Garret gets to Atlantis he finds everyone friendly and it a wonderful place in a beautiful spot in the mountains. After a series of vivid dreams, Garret is convinced that a new student is there to burn down the school. He seeks out to prove that the new student Vincent is there to destroy the school.
With the help of some of his friends, Garret stops Vincent and gets him expelled from the school. Senator Chamberlin makes an attempt to destroy Erickson, but Erickson doesn’t fall into his trap. But Erickson also is unable to convince Chamberlin not to run for president.
Garret is happy being at Atlantis and excited about his future, only there is a cave near the school in which he needs to find that holds some of the secrets of the area filled with treasure. He knows that it will be his next adventure at Atlantis.
