Begin, Murderer!

BEGIN MURDERER is a British detective-thriller set in 1950s Sussex. Lindsey Grey, the narrator, is a private, ex-policeman detective investigating the death of a wealthy painter, critic and art collector, and the strange disappearance of much of his collection. Grey soon finds himself embroiled in a series of murders, with two beautiful women and an unscrupulous villain to contend with.

Desmond Cory made a name for himself as a first-class writer of thrillers with his first novel – and has enhanced an already enviable reputation with his second.
