The birth of a child is a blessing, but the birth of a child of a human and a beastman is considered a curse. Nave is one such child whose entire life has felt like a curse. He's lost so many people, is expected to do more than he can, and suffers for little to no reward. As the weight of his cross grows heavier, he has the choice of either continuing to suffer for God or giving up on everything.
