About This Book

During baseball season Ezra has a big problem—his father. Mr. Feldman doesn't understand baseball, having grown up in Europe, and he doesn't understand Ezra's love of the game.

When his father gives him an electronic chess game for his tenth birthday, Ezra is ready to give up. Why can't they go to a game together, like every other father and son? It looks like Ezra can't win, but when he forgets to run an important errand for his father because he is glued to the TV set, he realizes his dad isn't the only one who's unfair. How can Ezra come up a winner if he and his dad are on opposite teams?
