Banking on Death

When John Putnam Thatcher suspects a young co-worker is out of his league when called upon to locate a missing heir, the urbane banker decides to show the youngster the ropes. But at the end of this line is a knotty problem--the newly located and now very much dead Robert Schneider. Was the murder a result of his seedy lifestyle or his tangled family ties?
