Band of Illusion

Although Peter Trevelyan's medical practice is doing well, his twenty-five-year marriage is crumbling. Against all personal and ethical beliefs, he succumbs to the charms of one of his infertility patients. Stunning thirty-year-old Laura seduces him into performing an insemination—in the flesh. Thus commences Peter's downward professional spiral, in which he finds himself the victim of a nationwide malpractice scam. Through grit and determination, Peter manages to turn the tables and resurrect his shattered personal life.
