Backyard adventures is a story about an average little boy who has wild imaginations, and like many boys his age, he would go through his backyard One day he is a cowboy the next he is a pirate on the high seas. Then an unusual situation occurs beyond his control and he would have to make decisions that will affect his whole world.

The author Nasser Abuhamda has written several books based on his childhood memories and adventures that he had gone through in this case such as in the book ""Backyard adventures.""
""Backyard adventures"" is extension of his previous books and reflects the life and times of the author as a child growing up in Michigan.
The author is also currently involved on doing animation based on his books and should be very welcoming setting for children.
