About This Book

Autumn Baptiste returns to her supposed haunted Connecticut estate after having left because of her husband's "accidental" death. She is determined not to allow herself to be tormented by her past. Upon her return, however, strange and unexplainable events occur that some of the family claim to be a ghost lurking in the halls, warning them of a danger that is dwelling within the confines of their walls. Autumn dismisses that theory as nonsense until she stumbles upon a diary of secrets written by her crazy mother-in-law, who swears the home is cursed. She begins to believe that these events are not figments of everybody's overactive imaginations, but indeed a paranormal presence that exists, trying desperately to warn them all of an evil that lurks closer to them than they realize -- one that will shatter the lives of Autumn and everybody she loves forever.
