Brotharius II seemed like the perfect choice for a new settlement. But when the Frenarians find themselves on the planet’s surface, they quickly discover the world to be less than hospitable, with storms harsh enough to rip the flesh from bones and creatures with a blood lust that could rival any civilisation in history. Already having dealt with the deaths of many of their fellow settlers, the Frenarians are in no fit state to deal with the perils their new world keeps throwing at them. And as things go from bad to worse, it’s up to Faeryn to prevent her people from descending into complete chaos as they begin to realise they may never see their home world again.
