Attack at Noon

England, May 1941. In the North Atlantic, German U-boats are devastating the British supply convoys, pinpointing their location with uncanny accuracy. Enter Ian McLeod, a lonely, asthmatic, little boy of eleven, bullied by all the other children at school, who escapes his horrible everyday reality by living in a toy soldier fantasyland of spies and secret codes.
