At Wilshire & Westwood

At Wilshire & Westwood is a fictional short story set during the Spring of 2012 when tyrannical real estate developer "mega-boss" Porsche Blaylock-Payne returns from vacation and meets a new hire by the name of Imani Gellespi. The two women begin as total strangers at the beginning of the day and become bonded by the end of the day. Throughout the following week the bond grows tighter due to Porsche's personal battle with ovarian cancer. She reflects on the blessings in her life and decides to pass-on a considerable portion of her wealth and power to Imani and her chauffeur Charles the only two people she trusts and respects over the plethora of employees within her organization. Redemption, love, and compassion best describes this transition of power, wealth, and respect.
