At Loose Ends

The attack of 9/11 was horrendous, and had far reaching consequences. Like ripples on a pond, the waves of evil spread out, devastating lives and destroying people. Kassidy Wells was just another victim, although she was far away from the attack. Her job vanished in the mayhem that followed the attack, and her apartment soon followed. Lost and alone on the streets with winter coming on, she was suddenly offered a devil’s bargain. A lonely lesbian offered her a home and a life, but could Kassidy do it? Could she make such a marriage work, could they? Even if they could, could they find a place where they could fit in, be accepted as any other couple? The Odds were against them.
