Hank Riley is a man haunted by alcohol addiction well into his late sixties. Liquor and beer are not the only things Hank can't escape; as the tragic death of his older brother Eddie fifty years ago still lingers true in Hank's mind. While On his way to church one Sunday morning, Hank meets Father Richards, a young visiting priest from Wyoming. Father Richards persuades Hank to take part in AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) to fix whatever time Hank has left on this earth. Hank ends up telling Father Richards some of his most personal life stories and agrees to attend meetings. Hank is left to deal with a lot more than his alcohol addiction as his past comes full circle for the final time.
