Ever's prophecy seems to be coming true, as the northeast states are hit with a hurricane of epic proportions. It is up to Ever, her men, and her magic to keep the werewolf clan alive in underground bunkers that are only half completed. When a shifter named Chirrot flies over to let them know that his family is still alive, Ever is reminded of how sinfully handsome the man is. Chirrot has never tried to hide his desire for Ever, but it couldn't come at a worse time for Kris. After losing his eye protecting Ever, he is feeling inadequate and the last thing he wants is to witness Ever's veiled attraction for the blond-haired shifter. As the water recedes and they can leave the bunkers, Chirrot, who had the potential to destroy their relationship, proves that he is worthy of their respect.
