About This Book

Armageddon Skills, follows the misguided journey of Virgil, a 23 year old Austin psychedelic barista and James, his 33 year old alcoholic manager. Assuming that an attack on the city of Austin, Texas is indeed the start of Armageddon, and citing a whole slew of impetuous reasons as to why it must be so, James and Virgil set off to Colorado to retrieve James' son, Zane. As their journey progresses, the fine line between reality and narcotic fantasy forces James and Virgil to make a decision that could ultimately end their internecine relationship. Meeting a few deities along the way, including Krishna who strangely resembles a famous rapper and Gabriel, who has taken the form of an androgynous, iconic British musician, James and Virgil are offered guidance and advice aimed at steering their journey away from impending doom.
