Archangel Blues

Too many enemies and too little time, that was the dilemma sometime darktrader, and no longer quite human, Butterfly St. Cyr and her hellflower mercenary partner, Tiggy, now faced. With her former comrade, the highly illegal A.I. Library known as Paladin, no longer a trustworthy ally, and with almost everyone in the galaxy targeting them for death, Butterfly and Tiggy were on what looked like a real suicide mission. They were out to destroy, once and for all, the seemingly indestructible Governor-General Mallorum Archangel, the being ready to start a war that would forever shatter any hope of peace in the Phoenix Empire.

And if that wasn't impossible enough, Butterfly was fighting her own last-ditch battle against another A.I. which had already gained partial control of her brain and body--and which could easily trap Butterfly in a virtual reality from which she'd never escape.
