An angelic voice began to sing so beautifully I was compelled to climb a few of the steps to be closer to the music. Little Toto appeared at the head of the stairs, tail in full wag. He ran down to where I was standing and looked up at me with one of his tiny front paws raised in anticipation. I leaned over and picked up my friend. He was so restful, I felt impelled to climb further up the stairs.
