High school sophomore Moldfreud Sweet has been a target all his life. An outcast at Tinyork High, he does his best to keep his head down and to stay invisible, never acknowledging his true desire…to be an actor. But his time in the shadows is over when Bethany Cade, local bad girl looking for trouble, enters his life. One tumultuous summer later Moldfreud finds himself with a criminal record and a traumatic secret to hide. Shipped off by his parents to a small town called Limesville, he reinvents himself with a new identity, Razberry Sweet, and swears that this time around, he'll be at the top of the food chain. Aligning himself with the misfits of Limesville High and pretending to be someone he's not, Razberry creates a movie that he hopes will slingshot him into popularity. But keeping up appearances is harder than it looks, and Raz soon finds himself tangled in a web of lies. Maybe, just maybe Raz is using his gift for acting to avoid dealing with the toughest thing of all…the truth.
