      About This Book

      Anton goes on an adventure of a lifetime. He falls asleep in the public library and as if by magic, he's transported back to 1948 where he meets the author and experiences a day in her life as a 9 year old. He goes to school and meets Mr. Curran, an old curmudgeon of a teacher who taught in Dowanhill Primary School in Glasgow in the 1940's and 50's. Anton is fascinated with the friends he makes and the neighbourhood in which they live. His incredible journey left him all fuzzy and warm and with many treasured memories.
