John Campbell Harris was like a human tornado, heading straight for the Kern River Valley, California--and for Suzanna Day. Suzanna wouldn't have been able to get out of his way even if she'd wanted to--she was too firmly rooted to the town's glorious past and to her eccentric old house, Angel's Walk. If it was in danger, then Suzanna was too. Cam seemed their only hope.
