When Robert Oliver arrived to take over the special registrar post, Maddie Brooks was immediately interested! It was clear he had been suffering, and he was deeply worried about his small daughter, Angelique, who was undergoing facial reconstruction with the Plastic Surgery unit. All her nurturing instincts in full flow, Maddie couldn't resist helping out with Angel, but it took Maddie's warm and boisterous family to make Robert see things in perspective and allow himself to love Maddie.
