In this edition to the Alfonzo saga an ambitious mob insurgent is manufacturing a potent designer drug. The illegal substance has become the drug of choice among college students and suburbanites. It's explosive appearance on the Miami club scene has claimed two young victim's. One is the daughter of a Senator who is also the roommate of Alfonzo's cousin Jessica.

Alfonzo has more than his share of troubles. There's a local gang-member from Alfonzo's past seeking to exact a bit of payback, a foiled hit on his cousin Giuseppe, and a betrayal by those he trusts most, Alfonzo never sees coming!
