An Opening for Murder

It was to be the best night of Maggie Kean's life. Spotlights shone on her sculptures, on display for the public. The crowd was abuzz, the hors d'oeuvres delectable, and the room full--a total success. That is, until Maggie found a dead body in the gallery's kiln...

When it's revealed that the victim was on the art gallery's board, the whole town is confounded: Why would anyone have killed such a patron of the arts? And, more importantly, who could have done it? Maggie has a few hunches--and, to her detective boyfriend's chagrin, she always follows a hunch. So Maggie and two of her friends try to figure out a few things on their own. But soon they realize that the gallery's busts aren't the only ones with a price on their heads...
