Nora Crandle travels west to meet her future husband, Clay Denton. She's a little nervous about being a mail order bride, but figures it's the only option she has, or be an old maid. She's also concerned that she will never be able to replace Clay's late wife in his heart.

Clay is anxious to meet his future bride. After his wife passed, he put life on hold for five long years, shutting out family and friends. He wants a wife at Christmas to bring the holiday to life again and hopes to put his late wife's memories in the past where they belong.
